A modern take on our icon classic, the Setesdal sweater. The fit is updated as well. Rib knit drop shoulder provides a modern, oversized silhouette. The Valløy men’s sweater is made of 100% lightweight wool and features a crew neck lined with skin soft merino wool.

This light and soft yarn is perfect for mid-layer garments requiring a lighter and softer feel. To make it machine washable it undergoes a revolutionary new wool treatment using natural non-toxic salts.

The Setesdal design is known as Norway’s most iconic pattern design and has been knitted for generations. The small v-shaped dots are known as the lice pattern, while the crosses were believed to protect from evil spirits.

Setesdal (Farm Valley in English) is a valley and district in southern Norway, known for its rich farming heritage. Valløy is a peninsula in the Oslo fjord.
