The Vail hoodie is crafted from Norwegian wool, one of the world’s most animal-friendly textile fibers. Our wool is sourced from sheep that roam freely in the vast Norwegian hillsides, grazing in natural pastures. This yarn provides an authentic look, renowned for its crisp texture and exceptional durability.

To enhance its functionality, the wool is treated to resist dirt and water. This PFOA-free treatment complies with EU REACH regulations. A windproof lining adds further water resistance, achieving an 8,000 mm waterproof rating in conjunction with the treatment. Please note that this garment is classified as water-resistant rather than fully waterproof, as it does not have taped seams. With high breathability, it offers warmth and comfort on windy days and in light showers.

This is an outer layer interpretation of our timeless bestseller: the Vail sweater, with design based on the traditional eight-petal rose pattern. The Vail sweater was the official team sweater for the US Alpine- and Snowboard team for the 2006-07 season.
